Historical Wall Of The British Embassy

Gaps that had developed between joints and inside the rubbled stone walls, constructed in two different periods, were filled by injection of hydraulic lime mortar. The bottom of the wall that had been damaged by roots of the tree from the garden was repaired by application of carbon fabric. The surface of the structure, listed as historical monument, was first treated with hydraulic lime mortar with subsequent application of carbon fiber polymer fabric. Separation of carbon fiber polymer from the wall surface was prevented by implementation of anchoring system. Besides, steel struts were installed in the area of massive damage. OTS developed the strengthening design of the the historical wall as well as performed the application of strengthening solutions in the field.
