It was identified that heavy damage was incurred by the remaining part of the building that had lost an essential part of its second floor due to the earthquake and fire. Strengthening design was developed including the application of the following strengthening methods: fixing and tensioning steel structure systems, carbon fiber polymers (CFRP) and injection of lime-based mortar.
