Production building of Elvin textile factory, one of the largest textile production facilities in Turkey, was inspected with respect to conformity with current regulations, and strengthening design was developed for identified weak parts of the structure. Strengthening design was developed taking into consideration the request of the customer to ensure continuity of the production process and dust-free methods for strengthening the existing prefabricated reinforced concrete load bearing structure of the building. Strengthening project, based on the customer's feedbacks, achieved by the installation of steel structure systems with application of carbon fiber polymer (CFRP).
