The whole building was reinforced with carbon fiber polymer against horizontal loads. Field application lasted for 3 weeks in total. After application of fiber polymer to the non-load bearing walls according to earthquake regulations, these walls acquired load bearing capacity and some characteristics of reinforced concrete shearwalls. Besides, application of carbon laminate increased the capacity of beams against bending under vertical loads. Joints between columns and beams were reinforced with fiber polymer.
