Damage survey was conducted on site, material tests, rebars were inspected and load bearing system was identified as the result of field studies. Structural safety level under both vertical and earthquake loads was identified. Cost comparison was conducted using alternative strengthening methods As a result, it was decided that demolition of the structure and building a new one would be more feasible.
