The building, which had been designed and built for Erzurum Winter Olympics, was planned to be modified for the use of Swimming Federation as a high-altitude camp for national athletes. The existing structure was consisted of reinforced concrete frames and shear walls with a roof on top. There were three independent blocks separated by joints. The structure with the dimensions of 66.4m x 66.4 m was the block redesigned as the subject of the project is located in the middle. The design of a new system was developed taking into account the distant location of the swimming pool annex building to the frame system. The project was not implemented due to the decision of the Ministry to proceed with a new investment instead of renewing the existing one.
